Curt was raised in Bath and graduated from Morse High School in 1986. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1990 and then Vermont Law School 1994. Curt earned a masters and a law degree in three years and then worked in Washington D.C for just under 10 years. Curt returned to Maine in 2001 after having worked in Europe, Africa, South America, and the Middle East on issues ranging from climate change to biodiversity conservation.
