We live in a world where a lot of people want: Instant gratification. Instant success. Instant recognition.
What people rarely see are the setbacks behind the scenes of people that have earned those accolades. The disappointment. The exhaustion. The moments where you question if things will ever come together. The long days. And sometimes, the painful reality that not everyone claps for your success, some silently hope you never reach the finish line at all.
This transaction carried all of that.
Almost a year in the making. Five contracts. Buyer after buyer losing financing. Extension after extension. Delay after delay.
But behind this sale was something far deeper than a transaction. My seller simply wanted the opportunity to move forward after the passing of her mother last year. What looked like “just another closing” on the outside carried grief, healing, patience, and perseverance behind the scenes.
Through every setback, Ms. Ursula and I stayed patient, steadfast, and faithful that what was meant for her would happen in God’s timing, not ours.
I am beyond grateful to finally say: Congratulations to Ms. Ursula on the successful sale of her home and the closing of this chapter.
And I also want to acknowledge my co-agent, Chantelle, who faced her own challenges throughout this process. I appreciate her patience, professionalism, and willingness to stand firm in adversity even when it was not the popular path. Most importantly, she remained committed to serving her client with care through every obstacle along the way.
Some victories arrive quickly. Others test your endurance first.
But delayed does not mean denied.
God is good, and His timing is always greater than our understanding. 🙌🏾🙏🏾
