At the request of federal and state regulators and other stakeholders, the AQB has extended the public comment period for its Second Exposure Draft of Proposed Changes to the Criteria through August 30, 2026.

The Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board recently received an “Excellent” rating following the Appraisal Subcommittee’s audit conducted August 26–28.

The review, performed every two years, evaluates each state’s compliance with Title XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989.

Louisiana earned the highest possible rating for both its Appraiser Regulatory Program and Appraisal Management Company Program.
