Understanding your education requirements is an important part of keeping your real estate license in good standing.

Post-license education is a one-time, 45-hour requirement for new or upgraded licensees that must be completed within the first 180 days of licensure.

Continuing education is a 12-hour annual requirement that must be completed by December 31 of each year. This requirement includes any mandatory course(s) established by the Commission.

Knowing the difference can help you stay on track and avoid delays in your real estate career. Learn more in the latest issue of Boundary Lines ---> https://lrec.gov/newsletter
