Along with 30,000 other investors, developers, and retailers, Jonathan Walker attended ICSC’s Las Vegas retail convention at the end of May. The weather was great and the sentiment was good. The retail world has seemed to get comfortable with stabilized interest rates and construction costs and has welcomed lower insurance premiums. Market drivers are still 1031 exchanges and outparcel development. It is always enjoyable making new friends in the business as well as catching up with seasoned vets!

The space that formerly housed Serops Cafe on Corporate Boulevard has a new tenant, and Maestri-Murrell was proud to do the leasing on the deal. Benjamin Stalter and Drew Gonzales leased the space to award-winning Asian fusion restaurant Dumpling Hour. Thank you to Sophie Zhao who represented Dumpling Hour.

Jersey Mike’s is now open at The Settlement on Shoe Creek at 14375 Grand Settlement Blvd in Central. Our own Emily Kramer has been representing franchisees in the growth of Jersey Mike's Subs throughout Louisiana and Mississippi since 2015, and we are thrilled for this successful opening.
