Living in the Baton Rouge area since the age of 5, I feel blessed to call Louisiana home; a state so rich in history, architecture, cuisine, & fabulous people! After attending LSU and USL, with major studies in Psychology, Literature, & History, and then living out of state for several years, we moved back to my hometown & I settled comfortably into being a stay at home Mom for 10 years. Acquiring
my real estate license in 1985, my initial goal was to earn a little extra income. However, as often the case with life, fate had other ideas & I soon found myself in a full time profession that I absolutely love! Licensed for almost 30 years now, I first worked with a small agency that I later bought, & then merged with Re/Max more than 20 years ago. This proved to be the single best move of my career, taking my business to a whole new level! Over the years I've served on many local boards & committees, hopefully making a difference in the community I call home. I list & sell in all 8 parishes served by the Greater Baton Rouge Board of Realtors, with the greatest concentration in Baton Rouge, Prairieville, and my home parish of West Baton Rouge. As the single Mom of 3 kids for 17 years, it did not take me long to figure out my knowledge about real estate "could go" with me anywhere! I believe making a commitment early on to always put representation & my clients' best interest first in every step of the way!
