I just came across my first water heater without a TPR valve as a home inspector.. That is a temperature pressure relief valve if you were wondering. That is what keeps your water heater from becoming a rocket. They have been required since 1960. This house was built in 57'. That is the year I was born. Think they got their money's worth?
