Congratulations to this awesome family on the purchase of their new home!! Katie and Pete, it was truly a pleasure to work with you both!!

This adorable sold picture has been a long time coming! Katie and Pete had come up from the Washington D.C. area last November, the week leading up to Thanksgiving to find a home in the Brainerd Lakes Area. We looked at a handful of properties that just weren’t quite the right fit! Thanksgiving Day they stumbled across a brand new listing that unfortunately we were not able to see prior to them going back home to D.C.

The day after Thanksgiving in 2019 we had a major snow storm here in the BLA. The Morsch family flew back to D.C. and we were able to do a FaceTime showing the very next day. Thanks to this crazy snow storm, I was the only agent that showed that brand new listing right after Thanksgiving Day! I know this one would have been in multiple offers had it not been for that storm, so I can’t help but think we lucked out!! Although Katie and Pete had spent a good chunk of that week looking at properties in person with me, they wrote an offer on the one they didn’t see the day after they left!

If you’re thinking things couldn’t get any crazier buying a house, they DO! Their move from D.C. to Nisswa, MN was supposed to happen in March but due to Covid-19, this family wasn’t able to get to their new home until two weeks ago (we closed in JANUARY!!).

I know this whole process was a bit crazy, but I hope you can look back and say it was well worth it now that you’re here! It was so great to see you yesterday, always a pleasure working with you guys and your family, too!! Congratulations again - take a breather and enjoy your new home! This was one heck of a journey for your family but here we are!! Best of luck to you guys with the rest of your house projects and move - can’t wait to see your home when it’s complete! ❤️🏡❤️

Huge congrats to this seller, Toni Tibbetts!! We kicked off the listing process about the time the pandemic hit our pretty state of Minnesota. 😳 Not an ideal situation when you’re listing your home and people fear leaving their homes!! Good news is time has shown that our market is still thriving in the BLA and in rural Motley, where this home is located. ❤️🏡❤️

Huge congrats to these new homeowners!! We looked at many houses that didn’t come close to comparing to this one. It was THE one we were looking for from the beginning and checks all the right boxes. Killer deal, plenty of space and since it’s already beautiful, there’s little to be done in home improvements.
