The city of Long Beach is currently under a tropical storm watch, flood watch, and storm surge watch.

Be prepared before the storm:
- Use MDOT’s map to find your evacuation route.
- Check your hurricane supplies including flashlights, batteries, water, and non-perishable food items.
- Fuel up any cars in case of evacuation.

Sandbags are available at the Long Beach Harbor and Harrison County Long Beach Work Center, 605 N. Seal Ave.

Long Beach Senior Center Bus Service will be closed tomorrow, 9/11, due to the storm.

Long Beach Public Work employees are currently cleaning all ditches around the city for drainage.

Long Beach Municipal Court on Wednesday, September 11th has been canceled. Please call the Long Beach Court for more information at 228-865-7840.

Please closely monitor updates and warnings from the National Weather Service and Harrison County Emergency Management.
