WOW... Long Island has changed A LOT since 1999 — the last time the Knicks made it to the NBA Finals!

Back then:
📼 We were renting movies from Blockbuster
📞 Everyone had a landline
💿 CDs were king
🏠 Long Island home prices looked VERY different

Last time the Knicks were in the Finals, Long Island looked a little different: dial-up internet, Netflix dvd rentals instead of streaming, packed malls and Suffolk County still growing fast. In 1999, a typical home in Bay Shore, Brightwaters, East Islip, or West Islip could still be found in the low-to-mid $200Ks, a 30-year mortgage averaged about 7.4%, and a 2-bedroom Nassau–Suffolk rent benchmark was around $1,105. A lot has changed since the ’99 Knicks run, especially Long Island real estate!

As many of you know, the Mallard is our Ramsay Realtors mascot and apparently these two got the memo. They've made themselves right at home in our pool and don't seem to have any plans of leaving!
