Meet Our Newest Bayfield Realty Intern! 🏡
We’re excited to welcome Peyton Wilmer to Bayfield Realty! Peyton is a local Bayfield High School senior who will be spending her senior internship with us this year.
She brings an incredible mix of creativity, curiosity, hard work, and community involvement—and we’re excited to give her a behind-the-scenes look at the many sides of real estate. We’re especially looking forward to watching her learn, grow, and discover where her interests might take her in the future.
We asked Peyton to introduce herself in her own words, so here’s a little more about our newest team member! 👇

“Hi, my name is Peyton Wilmer, I am a Senior at Bayfield High School and live here locally in Bayfield. As a senior at Bayfield, you are given the opportunity to choose an internship. This year I chose Bayfield Realty. Since I was little, I’ve always watched home renovation and real estate shows; seeing the different styles of architecture and how you can easily transform a space quickly influenced me into realty, and I really hope to see and learn both sides of the career. Inside of school, I love to participate in FFA and FBLA; as the BHS FFA Chapter President, I enjoy seeing those around me learn and grow as I myself once did. Outside of school, I love showing livestock through 4-H, taking pride in my animals as I raise and represent them, leaving a special place in my heart for my piggies. I also enjoy the outdoors, whether I am hiking, going to the lake, or taking my dogs out for a small walk in the juniper forest surrounding my house. I love to stray from the path and see new views that would’ve been missed; I love being outside and being able to have a breather from a busy schedule. You will also find me participating in art in and outside of the classroom. I find an appreciation and love for oil paintings. After high school, I want to pursue a bachelor's degree in business and economics as well as obtain my real estate license to dive into this career. A career I’ve always been interested in but not sure if I’ll do is interior design, which would be an amazing way to let my creativity flow. During my internship, I hope to learn more about marketing, I hope to see some breathtaking properties, and to learn how to read contracts properly. A fun fact about me is that I can never turn down an opportunity to hang out with my family, and that if I could, I would bring my dog everywhere. Now, if I could design my own home, I would make sure to incorporate a lot of windows to allow natural light in, so I can see the nature around me.”
