Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the incredible courage of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running to safety.

As the wife of a retired Battalion Chief/Paramedic who dedicated 30 years of his life to the fire service, the courage and sacrifice of our first responders has always held a very special place in my heart.

Today, we honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with every life lost on September 11, 2001, and all those whose lives were forever changed by that day. ❤️🇺🇸

Never forgotten. Always remembered.
