Another stunning Centurion by our favourite artist Angel Garcia Pinto. Seeing as he wears a "manica" (plate armour) on his sword arm it is relatively safe to assume this heavily decorated officer is probably a veteran of the Dacian wars, where due to the injuries sustained from the Dacian "falx" weapons they became popular with Centurions and others that could afford it. The only mistake I spotted straight away is that Angel has the gladius attaching straight to the cingulum (as the pugio does on the right hip) The gladius was secured to the balteus a shoulder strap that ran across the body and under the cingulum to prevent the gladius from spinning around everywhere. His Phalarae harness has 10 discs and he also has two gold torcs attached to his focale (neck scarf) this man has been awarded time and time again. Also, seeing as he wears a manica we'd expect to see a cross braced reinforced helmet, again to prevent damage caused by a falx.
