The City remains in close contact with local authorities and the National Weather Service and will make updates as needed.
All City of Baytown offices and facilities will remain closed until Friday, February 19, the time is TBD.
There is a boil water notice in effect until further notice. Boil water that will consumed.
At this time, the Fred Hartman WILL remain closed, until it is safe.
The 9-1-1 service has been restored and is working properly.
If you need shelter, please call 2-1-1 for immediate assistance.

Harris County Transit
Fixed-Route services will resume Friday, Feb. 19th
Hours of operation will be from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, based on current weather predictions.
Saturday service to be determined after Friday’s afternoon meeting.
Houston METRO
METRO will resume additional services Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. As the routes resume service, customers should prepare for possible delays and detours.
Local Bus Routes: All local routes will operate according to their regular schedules.
Park and Ride routes, HOT/ HOV lanes, and the METRO RideStore will remain closed. These services will resume on Monday, Feb. 22.
METRO Customer Service call center is open 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily and can be reached at 713-635-4000.

Stay warm and safe:
-Use heaters in a safe manner.
-Do not use ovens, charcoal grills to warm your home.
-Generators should be outside, not in the home.
-Report City water main or water meter leaks at 281-420-5300.
-Shut off your water valve if you have burst pipes.
The BAWA Water Treatment Plant is operational and water is in the process of being restored, it will take some time for pressure to return to normal.
*Waste Management will collect trash on Friday. There will be delays in service and trash that is not collected on your regularly scheduled day will be picked up the following day.
It has been reported that all power has been restored.
