If only I could 🥺

We don’t do this often, but after taking the shelter staff and foster observations into consideration we decided to go with their recommendation.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid have been together since we have known them. They were picked up on the side of the road and have never left each other since. These boys are tiny only about 6lbs each. They can be skittish with new humans at first but they do eventually bond once given time to decompress. Their crate still acts as their safe space and the boys are absolutely fine, and actually prefer to share one. Butch tends to be the more outgoing pup outside the home, and Sundance is thinks he is the protector inside the home. Together their personalities will not only crack you up, but highlight why these boys would benefit staying together in the same home. We rarely consider any duo a “bonded pair”, but these guys might be one of the few exceptions according to shelter staff, vet staff, and their foster.

Upon arrival these little ones did come down with a cold postponing their debut to the adoption circuit. While at the vet we did find out that Butch is considerably younger than Sundance. Butch is aged at 4-5 years old and Sundance is about twice that. We cannot guarantee breeds but do believe they are some type of Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix and can say they are full grown at about 6lbs. They boys get along with other pups, humans and felines but we would not recommend small children. It would be ideal for these boys to live out their happily ever after together.
