The travel ban for all non-essential travel in Dutchess County will end at 12pm today as part of the State of Emergency declared by County Executive Serino. Though the ban is being lifted early, residents are strongly encouraged to limit non-essential travel so crews can continue clearing roads and improving road conditions.

If you must go out, please use extra caution while traveling.

Dutchess County Public Transit bus service remain suspended for the day, Monday January 26th.

City crews are now picking up Christmas trees, which can be left at the curb by your home anytime over the next month. All trees collected will be ground up and composted so we appreciate you removing all tinsel and other decorations. Please do not put the tree in plastic bags. Thank you and Happy New Year!

All homeowners please make sure your cars are in your driveway or in one of the two parking lots this is the city snow ordinance reminder and Helen Court is a public city street thank you

SNOW ORIDNANCE REMINDER: Let’s not put a damper on the remaining holiday spirit by leaving cars on City streets tonight after 9pm!

When you leave your car on the street during overnight plowing you get $100 ticket, or even towed, the plow drivers can’t clear the snow and a cop has to stand out in the middle of the night in a snow storm to issue, or impound, it. When you park your cars on private property or in a city parking lot during the snow storm EVERYONE WINS!

Glendale Estates is a small townhouse community in Beacon, NY. All homeowners must live in their townhouse for two years before being able to rent to others. Our rules and regulations also do not allow for any type of short term rentals. This helps keep our community a safe and enjoyable place to live.

Being now that the weather is nice, please be mindful of your property and ensure that the grass is cut for the regulations and your outside is well maintained. The HOA board will be coming around to do inspections in the next couple of weeks and will be reaching out to homeowners that need to make some home maintenance.

As a reminder per the revised rules and regulations Parking on Helen Court headed downhill is prohibited. Please make sure you use one of our parking lots or park on the side of the street headed uphill. This makes it safer when driving up or down Helen Ct.
