She is the broker/owner of Point South Realty and she is happy to share her education and experience with her clients to help them make informed choices and have a great experience buying their home or investment property. Cindy started her real estate career after serving 22

years with the US Marine Corps. Her career choice as a Real Estate Broker is directly related to the empathy she has for families relocating from other areas and her desire to help make that transition smooth. Over the years, she has helped over 200 families purchase or sell their home. She has earned a BA through Indiana University and earned a dual Master Degrees in Business Management and Human Resources. She has also earned numerous Realtor designations: ABR, ASR, CRS, and GRI, and enjoys the honors of holding 5 consecutive previous franchise 100% Club national awards and 2 Executive Awards. She is determined to assure her clients receive and experience the best professional service that she can provide.

Beaufort County's Capital Projects Department will begin work on repairs to the pedestrian bridge and the addition of a new fishing pier on the Spanish Moss Trail on Battery Creek near the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

Construction will begin Wednesday, May 1 and is expected to finish Sunday, June 30. The timeline is an estimate dependent on weather and supplies. The work will be done by O’Quinn Marine Construction from Beaufort. Those on the trail should watch for signs identifying the detour route and proceed with caution.

The bridge and new fishing pier are located between the street crossings at Hermitage Road and Cottage Farm Drive.

The entire section of the Spanish Moss Trail between Cottage Farm Road and Hermitage Road will be closed for the duration of the project.

Construction traffic and staging of materials will block and interfere with the use of the bridge and the trail. Citizens should stay off this section of the trail for their safety and the safety of the contractor.
