🔌 Test High-Use Items: Check plug sockets, outlets, switches, and toilets for any abnormalities.
🏠 Check Age of Key Components: Inquire about the age and condition of the roof, HVAC, and other major structural systems.
👃 Sniff Out Unpleasant Odors: Be wary of fishy, ammonia, or musty smells, which could indicate underlying issues.
🌞 Note the Home’s Orientation: Consider how the house’s direction affects natural light, heating, and cooling costs.
🚗 Evaluate Vehicle Access: Ensure adequate garage space, parking, and ease of access for delivery drivers and GPS.
🔍 Look for Signs of Structural Issues: Cracks around doorways, windows, and extensions could indicate potential structural issues.
