She came into this world a bundle of energy with a fierce determination. These innate qualities have helped her grow into an entrepreneur of the first order. Karisa was self-supporting at an early age and has always worked two or three jobs simultaneously. She has broad based experience in sales and sales management, everything from Dairy Queen to pharmaceutical sales to World International Invest
ments. At one time she was working in the coker unit at Mobil Oil and would leave there and don a uniform to work an afternoon shift as Dairy Queen manager and from there to retail clothing sales at the Mall in the evening. Wherever she has worked, she advanced rapidly to more responsible positions. in business management from Lamar University, a degree that she worked on steadily for 15 years never losing sight of her goal. Because her Granddad and Dad before her, entrepreneurs all, invested in real estate, Karisa began building her own portfolio in 1991. She now owns and manages a large inventory of residential properties. Working with her own properties was so gratifying, she knew she had found her lifetime career; so in 2008 she earned her real estate license in little over a week. In 2009 she won the “Rookie of the Year” award from the Beaumont Board of Realtors and the Salesperson of the Year, “All American” award companywide from American Real Estate. In 2009 she also earned 4 state and national designations, Graduate, Realtors’s Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), and E-Pro. As a member of two multiple listing services, Karisa is able to expose her clients’ properties to a wider range of buyers. With energy to spare, she serves on Beaumont Board of Realtor’s MLS, TREPAC, Attendance and Hospitality, Finance and Budget Committees and serves as Treasurer of WCR. Karisa is a member of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and a provisional member of the Beaumont Junior League. She plays walley ball (that’s volley ball on a racquet ball court.) She has a deep interest in antiquity and loves European travel and an occasional trip to Mexico. Karisa enjoys her extended family including two nieces whose activities she follows as members of the Lumberton band and The Guard. With her boundless energy and enthusiasm for her work, Karisa sets her goals high and does not rest until they are accomplished. Her past clients are her biggest fans and best source of business. She builds solid relationships that endure long past the closing of a transaction.
