โ€ข Drain dry systems by clearing low-point drum drips
โ€ข Check attic insulation to make sure pipes are fully covered
โ€ข Seal drafts near piping, windows, and exterior walls
โ€ข Have a licensed professional verify antifreeze levels meet NFPA standards

Homeowners:
โ€ข Donโ€™t turn the heat off. Keep thermostats at 55ยฐF or higher, especially when traveling
โ€ข Keep closet doors open where the sprinkler riser is located
โ€ข Make sure insulation stays in place around piping
