The last several weeks have reminded me that a home is about so much more than four walls.
Our community here in Beaver has faced so much in a short time. From the wildfires to the flooding that has impacted and displaced so many families. My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected.
In moments like these, I'm reminded that a house becomes a home not just because of what's inside it, but because of the people around it. Home is found in neighbors who show up, friends who lend a hand, first responders who serve without hesitation, and complete strangers who choose kindness when it's needed most.
I'm incredibly grateful to live in a community where people rally around one another. There are good people everywhere, and times like these remind us just how much light can be found even in difficult circumstances.
As we continue moving forward, I hope we remember to mourn with those who mourn, lift those who are struggling, and look for opportunities to serve wherever we can. Sometimes the greatest difference we can make is simply showing up for someone else.
I'm grateful to call this community home. š
