Team Synergy came together last week to pack 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. This project (run through Samaritan’s Purse) delivers a Christmas gift to children in more than 170 countries throughout the world and many times is the first gift these children have ever received. We appreciate our wonderful employees who constantly volunteer their own time and go the extra mile for those in need. “Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” Mark 10:14

An amazing day for Synergy that started with 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 referencing how only by the grace of God, the wise builder lays a (strong) foundation. We at Synergy were blessed by all those who attended the groundbreaking of our latest building in the Wright Patt Defense Corridor. Thank you to Governor Mike DeWine, Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, Congressman Mike Turner, J.P. Nauseef, Jeff Hoagland, Greene County Commissioner Rick Perales and Beavercreek Mayor Bob Stone for your leadership and for taking time out of your busy schedules to speak. And thank you to the incredible teams working at LinQuest and MTSI for your faith in Synergy. The strong foundation is being laid as we speak, and we look forward to cutting the ribbon on this incredible facility in less than a year!

Thankful! 40 years ago this month Synergy Building Systems became a company! We are very proud of our roots and spent some time with our current team explaining the path our company has taken. Our founder, Bob Mills, began learning about construction from his grandfather when he was just 10 years old. Bob, always a gambler, decided to move his family from Pennsylvania to Ohio and started Synergy in 1982 with next to nothing to his name. Bob's hardworking and entrepreneurial spirit helped form Synergy into the successful company it is today. To celebrate, we took the team on a bus tour of our some of our previous offices. The walk down memory lane included stopping at our very first building ...which now looks like it could use a little Synergy construction! Forty years later, we are now led by Jerad Barnett and are very thankful and blessed with an amazing team of people.

Congratulations to Ohio’s Hospice on the official opening of their Care Coordination Center. This 30,000 square foot addition to their Washington Township campus is one of a kind from the exterior to the interior throughout with state of the art technology to educate and train team members. The building also contains a 24x7 command center dedicated to care coordination and remote monitoring across the large geographic area Ohio’s Hospice serves. Synergy is proud to have been a part of this wonderful, innovative project!

Synergy just completed a building for Kettering Health in Dayton. The Kettering Health Years Ahead building is located on Salem Avenue. This project was an 8,000 square foot building that was a redevelopment of a former auto parts store. The building will be used for primary care for patients 65 years and older.

Synergy Building Systems is currently breaking ground on a 32,000 sq foot facilty for Kettering Health in Wilmington Ohio. Wilmington is a growing community and we are pleased to be able to partner with Kettering Health to bring quality healthcare to that region. The building will include a 24/7 emergency center, family medicine and specialty physicians and is expected to open Summer 2023.

This Is Christmas!

Christmas came early for Karla, and while it did not come with a bow, she is celebrating like no other Christmas! Karla suffers from bone cancer and getting in and out of her house was becoming more difficult because of no railing on her front steps. Her need was shared with Gala, and we called our friends at Synergy and Mills Development Companies and asked their help.

A big thanks to Danny from Synergy for coming to Karla's aid, not only providing a stair railing, but doing the porch as well to keep Karla even safer. Gala is blessed with partners like Synergy who are helping us change the face of cancer in the Dayton area. Karla, we are cheering you on!

Synergy Building Systems has been contracted by Kettering Health to expand their freestanding emergency center in Franklin. The building, originally built by Synergy in 2015, will expand to 36,000 square feet, tripling this location in size. The larger space will provide room for new services, including primary care, specialty and lab services, as well as educational, wellness and support programs. We are pleased to partner with Kettering Health in their quest to expand services and guide local residents to their best health. Project expected to be completed winter 2022.

Today we are sharing a transformation we completed on an existing medical building in the heart of Beavercreek. This building got quite a facelift and is now home to the Kettering Health Network Beaver View Health Center. Check out the before/after
