FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Local Veteran-Owned Company Helping House Homeless Veterans in Dayton Area
Beavercreek / Dayton, Ohio —
A local veteran-owned company is working to make sure no veteran in the Miami Valley is left without a place to call home.
Hero’s Home, LLC, founded by a veteran family in the Dayton area, is dedicated to helping homeless veterans rebuild their lives by providing safe, affordable housing through the HUD-VASH program.
The organization purchases homes in the community, renovates them, and provides affordable housing opportunities specifically for veterans who have experienced homelessness.
In addition to providing housing, Hero’s Home also works with the community to help furnish the homes with essential household items, allowing veterans to move into a fully functional living space and begin a new chapter.
“We believe every veteran who served our country deserves dignity, stability, and a place to call home,” said the founders of Hero’s Home. “Our mission is to help bring heroes home and give them the support they deserve.”
The Dayton region is home to a large veteran population, including many connected to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Programs like HUD-VASH help veterans transition out of homelessness, but housing availability remains a challenge in many communities.
Hero’s Home aims to be part of the solution by increasing the supply of quality housing available to veterans.
Community members and local businesses can also support the mission by donating furniture, household items, or partnering with Hero’s Home to help furnish homes for veterans moving into stable housing.
“No veteran should ever be homeless,” the founders added. “Together as a community, we can make sure our heroes always have a place to call home.”
