An interesting Portland real estate statistic: 8.1% more homes sold this July than a year ago, yet the median price stayed exactly the same at $555,000. That tells us buyers are still buying—but they're being selective. With more choices and many sellers adjusting prices, today's market may offer buyers opportunities to negotiate that we haven't seen for several years. For sellers, it makes getting the price right from day one more important than ever.
