It’s true! With limited inventory, homes will be in high demand. Now this is great for sellers…why? You guessed it. It’s because home prices will go up due to limited inventory and high demand of active buyers. Spring is a great time to sell to get the best price on your home and if you are looking to buy, do it now while prices are still on your side and to lower your chances of over bidding and competing with other buyers. I’ve said it many times and I will say it again…waiting for interest rates to go down is counterproductive because home prices will only go up at that time. I’m going to say what you hear a lot of RE agents say which is: marry the home, not the rate.
