Our recent guests, Matt and Sara, commented that our dome is in the "perfect location". Which got me thinking, many people visiting New River Gorge National Park and Preserve don't realize how much land the park actually spans. There is so much more to the park than just the bridge. This little guy was the smallest fawn I've ever seen, and was still as a mouse waiting for momma to return.

Was trying to get the two butterflies on our sign and somehow I got a rainbow?? Odd because it was a beautiful sunny day!

As you already know, we celebrated the 1 yr anniversary of the dome yesterday. The guest staying was our friend Stacey Toney , and she was also celebrating an anniversary, so we left a few little extra touches. When we do this, it is because we enjoy surprising guests, we never expect anything in return. So when I come in to clean and see this large basket of gifts, I was blown away. I am truly thankful for each and every one of you who continue to support us. Something as simple as commenting and sharing is always appreciated so much! ❤️

How awesome is it that the guest that checked out today left us a gift, and didn't even realize it was a day of celebration for us??!! Something so simple can mean so much! I have held several job titles in my life but owner/host of Country Domes, LLC has to be one of my favorites! I love you people!! ❤️❤️
