Looking for something to do this weekend in Beckley? ☀️🚗🎶

Tonight, Friday, June 5, enjoy a beautiful evening in Downtown Beckley with Archie’s Cruisers first “Music on Main” Cruise-In of the summer! Cruising begins at 5:45 PM from Leisure Lanes Bowling Center on Johnstown Rd. with Music on Main happening downtown from 6–8 PM.

Then on Saturday from 11 AM – 3 PM, check out the Veterans Appreciation Car Show at Majestic Care (formerly Jackie Withrow) on Eisenhower Drive in Beckley. Veterans register free! There will be trophies, 50/50, concessions, and music by Dave Runion.

A great weekend to get out and enjoy the community! 🚘🇺🇸

Youth Outdoor Adventure Program coming this summer!
Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority, along with our amazing partners at Active Southern WV, Stewards Individual Placement, and WV NICA Raleigh County Youth Composite Team, are thrilled to announce the Youth Outdoor Adventure Program!

If you have a student entering 6th–8th grade, this is their chance to explore the best of West Virginia’s outdoors. Over three summer sessions at Lake Stephens, they’ll dive into:

Hiking & exploring local trails
Mountain biking basics
Paddle-boarding on the lake
Leave No Trace ethics

The Details:
Who: Students entering grades 6–8
When: June 16, July 14, and August 11 | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Where: Lake Stephens (1 Dam Drive, Surveyor, WV)

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

From all of us at Pikeview Manor Apartments, we extend our gratitude to those who served and to the families who carry their legacy forward.

As we spend time with family, friends, and neighbors this holiday weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect on the meaning of the day and the freedoms we enjoy because of their sacrifice.

Please note that the Pikeview Manor Apartments Rental Office is closed for Memorial Day and will reopen Tuesday with regular business hours. Should you experience a maintenance emergency, you can reach our on-call technician at 304-255-0593 ext. 3.

Tonight at 8 PM, the American Legion Post 32 Veterans Cemetery in Beckley will hold a beautiful Memorial Day tribute where each veteran’s gravesite will be illuminated with a tea light in remembrance and honor of their service. ❤️🇺🇸

A brief ceremony, music from the Salvation Army Band, and a special poem reading will also take place. A truly moving local tradition.

The pool at Pikeview Manor is officially OPEN for the season!

Join us today from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for Freeze Pops & Pool Passes as we kick off pool season together. Our team will be available to help residents create and set up their digital pool passes if you have not completed yours yet.

Reminder: You must have your pool pass submitted and approved before using the pool.

Also, don’t forget — our pool is heated and staffed with lifeguards for the season. We can’t wait to see everyone out enjoying the pool!
