WOULD YOU BUY IT? 🔑

Okay, New Hampshire buyers… this one could really divide people.

The house is perfect.
The lot is private.
You’re surrounded by trees.
No neighbors right on top of you.

BUT… that driveway is LONG.

Beautiful in the summer? Absolutely.

After a foot of snow in February? Different conversation. 😂

So what are you doing?

A. Buying it. The privacy is worth it.
B. Absolutely not. I’m not dealing with that driveway.

One thing I think buyers underestimate when looking at a home? Window placement.

Everyone loves natural light, but I’m also paying attention to where that light is coming from.

What do you see when you look out the windows? Can your neighbors see straight into your living room? Where will your furniture actually go? Does the room get beautiful afternoon light or turn into a greenhouse at 3 PM?

Windows can completely change how a room looks, feels, and functions, and unlike paint colors or light fixtures, they aren’t always an easy thing to change.

Natural light is great. Natural light AND privacy is even better.

What matters more to you: tons of natural light or more privacy?

You weren’t supposed to see this… 👀

But here’s what I’m ACTUALLY looking at while you’re deciding whether you love the kitchen.

During a showing, buyers naturally notice the fun stuff first.

The countertops.
The cabinets.
The primary bedroom.
Where the couch would go.

Meanwhile, I’m looking up, down, and everywhere in between.

Cracks in the ceilings or walls.
Windows and their condition.
Floors that don’t quite feel level.
Signs of moisture or previous repairs.
The age of the heating system and other major components.

Not because every little imperfection means there’s a problem.

It doesn’t.

But sometimes the things that are easiest to overlook during a 30-minute showing are the same things that could cost you thousands after closing.

You get to picture yourself living there.

I’m there to help you notice the things that are a lot less fun to look at.
