Friendly reminder
Please do NOT place ANY furniture in the shed. Furniture takes up too much space, makes it difficult for others to donate items to for our ladies, and can create safety hazards for our donation team when removing items from the shed.

If you have large items to donate, please call the front office at 812-275-5773. We will connect you with our large-item donation contact to coordinate a time to meet at our storage unit.

The ladies and children are absolutely loving it already, and we are so grateful for the time, hard work, and care that went into creating such a special space for our families.

The Sanctuary Garden is looking so beautiful lately! 🌿🌸

We’ve already had some fresh strawberries coming in 🍓 and the flowers are beginning to bloom so beautifully. It has been so special watching everything grow and come to life.

One of the best parts has been seeing the ladies helping water the garden, care for it, and pick fresh strawberries. 💕 It’s become such a peaceful and joyful space for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make the garden such a welcoming place. We can’t wait to see how much more grows this season! 🌱

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms, grandmothers, mother figures, and caregivers in our community. 💐

Today we celebrate the strength, love, sacrifice, and resilience that mothers show every single day — often without recognition. At Becky’s Place, we are especially grateful for the mothers who continue to push forward through difficult circumstances while providing love and hope for their children.

To every mom rebuilding, healing, surviving, and thriving: we see you, we support you, and we celebrate you today and every day. ❤️

A special thank you to Trisha for putting together a wonderful Mother’s Day breakfast and goodies for all of the ladies here. Your kindness and thoughtfulness made today extra special, and we appreciate you so much. 🌷

🌱☀️ A huge thank you to Dayna, Donna, and Wanda for spending the evening with the ladies here at Becky’s Place for a fun garden night! 🌸🌿

The weather was beautiful, and everyone really enjoyed getting outside and being hands-on. One of the ladies shared that she helps her grandmother with gardening, so being part of this activity meant a lot to her. 💚

We truly appreciate your time, kindness, and willingness to create meaningful moments for the women here at Becky’s Place!

We are beyond proud of these ladies for completing the class

This spring, Becky's Place launched a new Dental Assistant Training Program to support women on their path to long term stability and self sufficiency.

With help from a generous volunteer instructor and a $3,000 grant from the Community Foundation Partnership, 13 residents and aftercare participants are preparing to gain hands on skills for a growing career field. This program is more than job training, it’s a step toward confidence, purpose, and a brighter future.

Today we’re celebrating two incredible women who make Becky’s Place so special!

Melissa (Missy) has been part of our family for over 10 years. Her compassion, kindness, and steady presence have touched countless lives, and we are so grateful for the care she shows each and every day.

Leti has been with us for almost 2 years, the joy and love she brings to everyone she encounters, makes such a positive impact.

Amanda is such a joy to everyone at Becky’s Place. She brings a shining smile every time she walks through the door, and her kindness truly makes a difference in the lives of the women we serve.

At least once a month, Amanda and her team show up in a big way—leading activities, spending time connecting, and even offering rides to church for those who want to attend. That kind of consistent care and compassion does not go unnoticed.
