Everybody keeps saying the market is dead.

But Tarrant County buyers have closed on 12,722 homes so far this year, up 0.3% from last year.

That does not mean the market is easy.

It means "the market feels bad" and "nothing is happening" are not the same thing.

The market changed.
Buyers got more careful.
Sellers lost some leverage.

But homes are still selling.

Before you make a real estate decision based on headlines, social media, or what somebody's cousin heard at work, look at the local numbers.
