This week was filled with more valleys than victories.

Every offer I wrote was unsuccessful.

I wasn’t selected for a listing.

There were no-shows, cancellations, schedule changes, and today, for the first time in my real estate career, someone decided they no longer wanted to work with me.

That’s business. That’s life.

What I’m most proud of is that I still gave it my all.

I showed up. I answered the calls. I wrote the offers. I prepared for the appointments. I did the best I could with the circumstances in front of me.

And sometimes, your best just isn’t enough.

That’s not failure. That’s reality.

Not every client is your client. Not every opportunity is meant to be yours. Not every door is supposed to open.

Some weeks are mountain tops.
Some weeks are valleys.

Either way, the weekend is here and a new Monday is coming, and I’ll show up and do it all again.

Gratitude, always. 🙏

It’s Friday. It’s hot. ☀️😅

Maybe it’s the heat. Maybe everyone’s hungry. Maybe life is just life.

But today, there definitely seems to be something in the air making people a little extra crabby.

The good news is we don’t get to control other people’s attitudes.

We do get to control our own.

So today, I’m choosing to smile, be kind, and keep moving forward. 😊

Well… 3 of my 4 tires picked up nails this morning, and the one that survived had the lowest tread of them all. 😅🚗

Needless to say, 4 brand-new tires were not on my bingo card for today.

Not exactly how I planned to spend part of my day, but sometimes life has other plans.

The silver lining? I’m grateful to do a job that allows me to work from just about anywhere. As long as I have WiFi, a hotspot, and don’t need to physically show a home, I can still keep things moving. 💻📱🏡

A huge thank you to my clients for being understanding and flexible as we shifted a few showings to Tuesday and Wednesday. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Now it’s time to make the most of the rest of the day and keep moving forward.

Counting down to Friday’s closing, today was all about the behind-the-scenes details that help make the big day go off without a hitch 🏡

One of the tasks on today’s checklist was coordinating the final water reading for my listing in Hopkinton, NH.

Because the property is connected to public water, the water department needed to obtain a final meter reading. That reading will now be reported to the town, and the final bill will be sent to the title company so everything can be properly accounted for before closing.

It’s one of those details most people never see, but it’s an important part of getting a transaction across the finish line. ✅

Real estate is often about managing the dozens of little details behind the scenes so closing day goes as smoothly as possible.
