ALMOST 10,000 POUNDS OF FOOD AND $2,500 RAISED FOR LOCAL FAMILIES.

Today we gathered at the Food Bank Network of Somerset County to celebrate the results of the Coldwell Banker Somerset District Food Drive and what an incredible community effort it was.

Thanks to the generosity of people across Bridgewater, Branchburg, Hillsborough, Somerville, Warren, Basking Ridge, and surrounding areas, we collected nearly 10,000 pounds of food plus $2,500 in cash donations for local families in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped spread the word. Community still matters and this proved it.

Fun day at the Somerville Bike Races. Turned out to be a nice afternoon, races were good, crowd was decent and was great seeing people. One of the great traditions at Somerville is handing out beers and waters after the race is complete. Bonus, I got to do a couple of laps in the pace car.

With so many parades being cancelled today, Bradley Fardens still held their parade, so great job for them. It was a decent turnout and typical parade and of course My Buddy during the ceremony followed by the hot dogs at the Legion.
As things are constantly changing, it’s good that some traditions still remain. Next up, the bike races🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This evening I had the opportunity to attend the Glen Ridge Swim Club opening weekend party and had a great time. Had the opportunity to do a quick interview with pool president Stephanie Moench and she talked about what the pool has to offer.
If you’re looking for a fun place to spend the summer with friends & family, contact the pool.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend🇺🇸🇺🇸

Behind the scenes of real estate in Somerville. What looked like a possible underground oil tank at my listing on N. Gaston turned into a full exploratory dig today.

Even though my sellers had paperwork showing the tank was removed years ago, the buyers wanted extra peace of mind before moving forward. I was there representing my clients through the process and to see exactly what was uncovered.

The result? No tank. Just buried debris and a 5 foot section of metal that may have been from an old pool left behind by previous owners. Big relief for everyone involved.

This is the side of real estate people don’t always see. Inspections, surprises, problem solving, and making sure buyers and sellers feel confident every step of the way.

Thinking about buying or selling in Somerville, Bridgewater or surrounding areas? Reach out anytime.

Most home sales don’t fall apart at the offer stage… they fall apart at inspection.

That’s why I created the Hobbs Home Prepared Program for homeowners in Bridgewater, Somerville and the surrounding area.

I just shot a video explaining how this process helps sellers identify issues before buyers do through:

• Pre listing inspection
• Repairs or documentation upfront
• 12 month home warranty for the buyer

The goal is simple:
Fewer surprises. Smoother transactions. More confident buyers.

As a former police officer, I’ve always believed it’s better to address problems before they become bigger problems.

If you’re thinking about selling in Bridgewater, Somerville, Hillsborough, Raritan or the surrounding area, watch the video and reach out with any questions.

Day 2 is complete, 96 miles Piscataway to Wilmington. Last 4 miles in a steady rain up hill and as one rider said “this is a significant amount of suck”. Overall a good day as we are 1/2 way there.

The 30th annual Police Unity Tour is here!!! It’s one of the most meaningful things I’ve done and this is going to be my 25th straight year. Tonight was registration and the meet & greet. It’s always great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. This year I’m again riding for Kaitlyn Cowley of the Louisiana Dept of Probation & Parole(a Bridgewater girl) and Montrell Jackson of the Baton Rouge PD.
The nearly 300 mile ride starts tomorrow🚴🚴
We ride for those who died!!!!!
