August was a record-breaking month for me - selling over $7.3M just on BEECH MOUNTAIN! This is a true testament to the strong BUYER DEMAND on our mountain community!
August was filled with lots of hard work, sleepless nights, early mornings and no days off; I was on call 24 hours a day, facing tough negotiations and my determination to get the results my sellers wanted.
One of the things I love most is listening to my sellers as they share the memories they’ve created in their homes. They tell their stories with tears in their eyes, their hands often shaking. They need more than a realtor, they need someone who cares, someone who cares about how difficult this is for them but mostly someone who will take the time to sit with them and listen. This is often an incredibly hard decision for them.
They want their memories preserved when the home sells, they desire someone who will cherish the love in that home and carry their story forward to share.
I always leave having learned so much from them, but mainly they remind me how quickly their time here has passed. If I could give them one thing, it would be more time in their home, with their loved ones on this beautiful mountain.
Selling a home is a deeply personal experience for me. Each home has its own history, a legacy, beautiful memories and a future! Whenever I drive by, I can’t help but think of the lovely couple who lived there, enjoying every moment with their loved ones and sharing with me both laughter and tears, and yes, I do cry!
This past month has been incredible; it has expanded my heart and I've come to realize that time is truly a blessing. Remember to slow down and cherish EVERY SINGLE MOMENT!
