Fun fact for you! Back in 2021, after our second daughter was born, we opened a mobile, craft coffee business.

Nate literally built the *entire* custom structure on a flat bed trailer with the help of a couple of our family members. Simultaneously, we taught ourselves craft coffee through classes + endless trial and error. We tested homemade syrups, sourced the highest quality ingredients, created a menu, built a following & launched it in 6 months during April of 2022. It was honestly a grueling journey, but also so incredibly rewarding to watch people enjoy what we brought to life. After a year of balancing it all with family life & Nates full time career in the Navy, we decided to close that chapter — selling both the business and our brand. Today it still serves many of our original recipes with wonderful new ownership just down the road from our home!

As you can imagine, we were quite selective with the equipment + coffee & tea products we curated for the Wild Daisy. But more than that, we brought so much of what we learned about entrepreneurship & hospitality with us into this new venture with Abode!

Hearing our guests enjoy their experiences at Stay Abode , whether big or small, brings us so much joy! We’re so grateful for each of you!

Using organic textiles was so important to us when we curated bedding for the Wild Daisy.

Because these natural fibers truly offer our body the best atmosphere for rest.

It’s the standard for our home. And that’s what we promise at our destinations. The same care & Intention.
