Sometimes you never know where one conversation will lead.
I came across a For Sale By Owner and reached out.
They decided to work with me, and I had the opportunity to help them sell their home.
But what happened next is the part I’ll remember.
They referred me to someone they knew.
Their mom had passed away, and the family needed to sell her home.
The catch?
They lived out of state.
So they were trying to handle the sale of a home from hundreds of miles away while also dealing with the loss of their mom.
I knew this was about more than putting a house on the market.
They needed someone local who could be there when they couldn’t.
I helped coordinate the details, kept them informed, handled what needed to be handled here.
We sold the house.
And that’s the thing about real estate that means the most to me.
It isn’t always about the house.
It’s about the people who trust you with their home when they’re going through something much bigger.
One FSBO conversation led to a client.
That client led to a referral.
And that referral led to a family trusting me during one of the hardest times in their life.
