Persistently high mortgage rates around seven percent, combined with record-breaking home prices, have slowed housing market activity throughout the Mid-Atlantic. However, buyers still in the market will discover a wider array of options. Active listings have risen for four consecutive months, with inventory up 17.5% from last year. June's median sold price reached a new high of $430,000 in the Mid-Atlantic.
