1. Testing for radon is easy and only costs $150-$200.

2. If your home was built pre-1980 some vinyl flooring tiles (9"x9"), acoustic ceiling tiles, 1960's "popcorn ceiling" / stipple coated walls/ceilings, 'honeycomb' pipe insulation, vermiculite insulation (smaller, loose blown-in), and cement siding are some of the instances of asbestos I have seen in homes around MD.

From air pollution to microplastics to natural radiation, these are the environmental factors that contribute to cancer risk and what you can do to lower yours.
