Condos at Belfast Bay

Lets talk about SURPRISES!
The building converted to condos with individual owners in 2020. I am always surprised when FB notifies me (weekly) about dozens of “views”. Every week! No idea what folks are looking for here.
Some of the units on the top floor are listed by their owners as short term rentals.
But, another surprise is when people who have stayed there complain in reviews about no check in desk, no housekeeping, no breakfast, etc. like they are still expecting it to be an inn? Even though the booking site was AirBnb, Vacasa or VRBO? 🤷‍♀️

Waldo County Woodshed is a non profit which helps people around here every winter keep warm by making firewood available to them at no cost. (Its like a food bank for heat help).
Please help them buy a new truck which they use year round.

Now that the Belfast Bay Inn has become a condo building, we donated (2) pick up truck beds of items from our “Inn” days for this worthy cause. Too much to list, but a Brother Printer, a Staples paper shredder, some basic bar stools, some table and floor lamps, table linens and placemats, a predecorated Christmas tree, some window treatments, lots of dishes and tons of coffee cups, eating and cooking utensils.
We even sent along a half dozen umbrellas with our old logo on them!

This was sent to our list of previous guests. At this time, just over 1/2 have opened this email. For the other 45%, who have not opened, guess they’ll figure it out eventually, when the second and third floor are UNAVAILABLE as short term rentals... !
