JAZZ, FUNK & WORLD RHYTHMS: AN EVENING WITH EZRA RUGG AT BISTRO LA CAVE

🎶🌍 Get ready for a unique fusion of sounds at Bistro La Cave this Tuesday, May 16th! The incredibly talented Ezra Rugg will be performing live from 6 PM to 9 PM, bringing his distinct style of modal jazz with funk and world music influences.

Born in Manhattan and a Mainer since the age of three, Ezra Rugg is one of the state’s most accomplished multi-instrumentalists. With over 30 years of experience, he creates hypnotic soundscapes using electric and upright basses, guitar, drums, and vocals, alongside a looper and an array of carefully chosen effects pedals. Ezra’s performances are a testament to his broad musical prowess, echoing his experiences from backing The Coasters to playing with Jon Fishman, and from fronting his own group Fully Funktional to laying down bass tracks for Gypsy Caravan’s debut CD.

As you immerse yourself in Ezra’s captivating tunes, make sure to explore our enticing menu. Our kitchen is open from 5 PM to 10 PM, serving up a delicious mix of small plates, not to mention our irresistible desserts like our warm Chocolate Lava Cake.🍴🍷

Once the plates are cleared, our lounge remains open until 12:30 AM, offering the perfect ambiance to unwind and soak in the rest of the evening.
