Will Florida's new condominium association laws affect your Bozeman COA in the future?

New Fla. condo law alters annual meeting procedures.
Recent condo amendments in Florida, effective this month, introduce significant changes to how annual meetings are conducted, such as COAs must now ensure a board quorum is physically present at meetings held via video conference. The new law also modifies electronic voting procedures, allowing ballots to be submitted via email and changing the 14-day authorization notice requirement to just "regular" notice. Resort company settles $25M condo lawsuit over high fees
Big Sky Resort parent Boyne USA has agreed to an almost $25 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit filed by condo-hotel owners in Montana. The lawsuit challenged the legality of Boyne's mandatory rental management program, the high management and maintenance fees associated with it and its exclusivity clause for Boyne's management services.
