Detroit’s largest home just sold for $800,000, after originally listing for $9M.

The 35,029-sq-ft Bishop Mansion, built in the 1920s and once home to Catholic Bishop Michael Gallagher, had fallen into disrepair.

Now, an Austin-based angel investor plans to restore the historic estate and reinvest in Detroit’s tech scene.

This $452 million French castle was formerly owned by the Rothschild and the King of Morocco!

Known as 'Chateau d’Armainvilliers,' the estate dates back to the 12th century spanning 2,500 acres. If sold near its asking price, it would surpass the current record holder, a $370 million modern home owned by Hong Kong billionaire Yeung Kin-Man.
