Bistro Mistral is now open at 5313 Bellaire Blvd.
Behind the beautiful, cozy, interior of Bistro Mistral is Chef David Denis, whose story starts in the South of France and unfolds across decades of passion, travel, and family.
At just 17, he began formal training in a Michelin-starred kitchen. His journey took him across France and Switzerland before becoming a private chef for an American family, ultimately bringing him to Houston in 1995.
From leading some of Houston’s most respected dining destinations like Le Mistral, Rouge Wine Bar, and Artisans, to now bringing his vision to life at Bistro Mistral, Chef David is known for his refined French technique and thoughtfully curated dining experiences.
