✨Last night I received the Rising Star Award from our MLS, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.✨ It is such an honor to be there with these amazing individuals.
Real estate may have my name on the sign, but there is absolutely no way I do this alone.
First, to my husband Eric thank you Baby for being the person behind the scenes who makes so much of this possible. You help when I’m running in twelve directions, you support every crazy idea I come up with, you listen when I need to vent, and you somehow keep cheering me on even when this career steals nights, weekends and more family time than I would like to admit. You are my biggest helper, supporter and teammate, and I could never do what I do without you. ❤️
To my kids, thank you for understanding when I have to take time away from you for showings, inspections, appointments, closings and everything else this career brings. I know it isn’t always easy to share your mom, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your patience, flexibility and love. You are my biggest motivation, and I hope you always know how proud I am to be your mom. ❤️
Thank you to my broker Andrea Simunek Real Estate, Real Broker who drove all the way from Sioux Falls to support me and be there for this event. I don’t know what I would do without your support and sorry for blowing your phone up 3,429 times a day. I love your face!!
To my mom Jana, thank you for being there for my boys when an inspection runs late, a showing pops up, someone needs to sign something RIGHT NOW, or my calendar decides it has absolutely no respect for normal business hours. 😂 Knowing my kids are loved and taken care of allows me to show up for my clients when they need me, and that is a gift I will never take for granted.
To my fellow REALTORS® who nominated me… thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly. ❤️
Being recognized by the people who work beside you means more than I can explain. We may technically be competitors, but some of the best parts of this business come from working alongside agents who answer questions, solve problems, collaborate, encourage each other and work together to get our clients to the closing table. I have learned so much from so many of you, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this real estate community.
And Brandy and Michelle… THANK YOU. ❤️ Thank you for everything you do for us, for answering approximately 4,732 questions 😂 and for always taking such good care of all of us.
I’m also incredibly thankful for the support we receive from our MLS boards and associations and RPAC. There are so many people working behind the scenes to provide education, resources, support and opportunities that help us become better REALTORS® and better serve our clients and communities.
When I got into real estate, I didn’t just want to sell houses.
I wanted to build a business I could be proud of.
I wanted my clients to feel like they had someone truly fighting for them.
I wanted to be involved in my community.
I wanted to keep learning, keep growing and hopefully make a difference along the way.
Tonight was a pretty special reminder that maybe I’m headed in the right direction. ❤️
I am incredibly grateful, incredibly humbled and probably more motivated than ever.
Thank you to every client who trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of your life and trusted me with one of your biggest assets. That trust means everything to me, and I never take it lightly.
