The Wichita Area Association of REALTORSâ also recognized Julie’s achievement by yet again, giving her the Masters Circle award. Julie is a member of National Association of REALTORSâ (NAR), Kansas Association of REALTORSâ (KAR), Wichita Area Association of REALTORSâ (WAAR), and South Central Kansas Multi-Listing Services (SCK-MLS). To say that Julie is involved in her community is an understatement. She was awarded Quality Citizen 2011 by the Belle Plaine Community foundation. She is the president of the Belle Plaine Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Booster Club, a Sumner County Economic Development board member, and serves on both the middle school and high school site councils. She is a past president of the Belle Plaine Recreational Organization (BPRO) as well as the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). She and her husband are both graduates of Belle Plaine High School and while Julie is a third-generation graduate, her sons are fourth-generation bulldogs and dragons. She also attended Cowley County Community College and Wichita State University to obtain a business degree; her favorite class was business law. Julie and her husband, Ken, have four boys—Bryce, pursuing his career; Benjamin, a student at Oklahoma State; Brett, a student in high school who is involved in many activities; Bowen, a middle school student following in his big brothers’ footsteps. Needless to say all the ballgames and activities keep them busy and in-the-know about properties available.
