You know the saying “Hall of Fame” ~ we have the “Hall of Dane” in our home with Danish items in our staircase. Such nice memories from our visits to Denmark and of Alf’s heritage.

Some history….

Left side of staircase is a bell pull with cross stitch of attractions in Denmark. When pulled, a bell would ring for service. The two Posters of Copenhagen and Tivoli (Similar to our Kennywood).

Right side of staircase top is a framed cross stitch Alf’s Mom made. The bottom framed photo is of Peter Liep's House (Peter Liep's Hus) is a famous, historic white cottage with a thatched roof nestled directly inside the Dyrehaven (Deer Park) just north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally serving as a gamekeeper's cottage, it has been a beloved destination for dining and nature strolls for over 100 years.

Just brought some great memories today.
