Dear Resident(s),
Please be sure to read all resident letters that are distributed regarding the Coronavirus, as things continue to evolve on a consistent basis. Dietz Property Group cares about the health, safety and well-being of our employees, residents and communities we serve. This will always be a priority for our organization. As we closely monitor the news surrounding Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), and we follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, we have further updates to share below. Please be aware that we are constantly monitoring developments surrounding this virus and all guidance / announcements below are subject to change. We sincerely appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times.
• All offices / clubhouses are to be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17th through April 17th, with a few exceptions:
o Prospective residents can make appointment requests for tours if looking to move in under 30 days.
o Offices should have staff on hand during regular business hours for phone calls and emergencies, though we cannot guarantee this 24/7 at this time. If you have an emergency, please call your property emergency maintenance phone number.
o If you are looking to pay rent, please take advantage of paying online at no cost. If you need assistance with the resident portal, please call your office staff and we’ll be happy to assist.
• All indoor amenities (fitness centers, business centers, etc.) are closed until April 17th.
• All non-emergency work orders are on hold through April 17th. Please be patient with our staff and do not call in non-emergency work orders / service requests at this time.
• All clubhouse rentals (where applicable) remain cancelled through April 17th.
• All resident events remain cancelled through April 17th.
Please also be aware that we understand continued developments may have an adverse financial impact on residents. At this time we are evaluating our short-term processes and options for those affected, and we will have an update available before April rents are due. Please do not contact the offices at this time with rent questions for future months, but be assured we will reach back out with further updates prior to the end of March.
As a reminder, please follow CDC recommendations for best practices to limit the spread of illness. Those items are:
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home when you are sick. Maintain distance from other people to prevent the spread illness.
• Wash your hands often with soap and warm-hot water for at least 20 seconds. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizers if soap and water are not available. Always use soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
• Cover coughs and sneezes with tissues or by coughing into the inside of the elbow. Dispose of the tissue after blowing the nose or coughing, then wash your hands.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth to prevent the spread of germs.
• Clean the surfaces of your home regularly.
• If you are not feeling well, contact your physician.
• Postpone visits of family members of friends that have a fever, are experiencing other flu like symptoms, have traveled outside the US within the 14 days.
Further, residents who are ill (or have someone in their home who is ill) and in need of assistance (including maintenance), please contact the office so that we may assist you as best we can.
