The keynote conversation with Cheryl Strayed, bestselling author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things, really stayed with me.

She shared the idea of telling the story of a time when you had to begin again — through struggle, fear, or shame. Her own journey was a powerful reminder that when life brings us to a difficult place, having stability, safety, and a place where we belong can give us the foundation to begin rebuilding.

One message especially touched my heart:

“A home makes hope possible for others in need.”
