What Can We Do to Help Make Their Christmas Magical
Families helping Families
This year, our mission is to spread holiday cheer, and what better way than by supporting an extraordinary family? Imagine a courageous mother with her two small superheroes: one taking his first steps and the other perfecting tantrums at four years old. Just as they were settling down to enjoy some cookies, life presented a twist more shocking than any reality TV show.
The youngest hero, born in September, received a diagnosis of Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) in February, after a strenuous five-month search for answers. Before he could even babble, he was undergoing chemotherapy like a champion. And you know what? He celebrated remission this past July with a clear PET scan!
But brace yourselves, because last month brought another unexpected challenge. The active LCH made an unwelcome return, affecting his ear canal, lymph nodes, and skin. It's reminiscent of those persistent villains in superhero films. But have no fear, this family is ready to face the battle, and we're here to root for them with all the excitement of children hopped up on sweets!
So let’s join forces to sprinkle this family with some extra cheer and support. After all, not all heroes wear capes—some just wear diapers and superhero pajamas!
The items listed represent just a few of the interests expressed by the family. If you would like to contribute any gifts, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.
