Should you wait to sell? ๐Ÿ”ฎ

I don't actually own a crystal ball (still waiting on that upgrade ๐Ÿ˜‚) โ€” but based on conversations with economists and other experts, it looks like we'll be in this market for another 5-7 years.

So unless you're planning to wait 5+ years to sell, now is still a solid time to buy. ๐Ÿก

Seattle isn't really one city experience. It's a collection of neighborhoods, each with its own personality and lifestyle. ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŒฒ

Finding the right neighborhood is just as important as finding the right home. Where you live shapes your daily routine, your commute, your weekends, and the way you experience the city.

Swipe through and let me know which neighborhood fits your vibe! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Big news for buyers and sellers!

Starting September 4th, sellers can list their home as "Coming Soon" โ€” and yes, that means it can actually sell before it ever hits the open market.

Here's the catch: these listings won't show up on Zillow or Redfin. The only way to see them will be through an agent.

If you're buying, this is exactly why having someone in your corner matters right now โ€” the best deals might never make it to your search results.

If you're selling, this could mean less traffic on your driveway and more control over how your home comes to market.

Questions about what this means for you? Send me a message! I'm happy to break it down and talk about this more with you.

Let's talk about "slow markets" for a sec. ๐Ÿก

They're not the villain everyone makes them out to be. What actually moves a home? Pricing it smart, staging it so buyers can picture themselves there, and photos that make people stop scrolling instead of swipe past.

Get those right, and slow market or not โ€” your home sells.

A lot of people think they need to be fully prepared, pre-approved, and ready to start touring homes before reaching out. But having a conversation early can actually make the entire process feel a lot less overwhelming.

Whether you're thinking about buying in a few months or a few years, talking through your goals can help you better understand the market, what you may need to prepare for financially, and what steps make the most sense for your timeline.

The goal isn't to pressure you into making a move before you're ready. It's to help you create a plan so that when the right time does come, you can move forward with more clarity and confidence. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿก

๐Ÿ โšก Buying an older home? Don't skip the electrical panel.

If a home still has "k**b and tube" wiring, it's more than an outdated look โ€” it can be a real safety hazard, and many insurance companies won't even cover it. Before you fall in love with those original hardwood floors, make sure the bones of the house are safe too.

One of the fun things about living in Seattle is that everyone has strong opinions about the city.

Favorite neighborhoods, coffee shops, views, restaurants, even the weather... ask ten people and you'll probably get ten different answers.

So let's settle it:

What's your most controversial Seattle opinion? ๐Ÿ‘€

For me, being a realtor isn't just about getting a transaction across the finish line.

It's about being someone my clients can rely on, especially when the process comes with added emotion or complexity. I'm grateful for the trust this family placed in me and honored that I could help make a difficult transition a little easier. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Kirkland has no shortage of great coffee, but Zoka Coffee Company has been a longtime favorite of mine. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop โ€” great coffee, great vibe, great neighborhood. โ˜•๏ธ

One of the biggest things I tell buyers is to slow down before they speed up.

It's easy to see a home you love and immediately want to make an offer. But taking the time to understand the numbers, the neighborhood, and how the home fits into your future can help you make a much more confident decision. ๐Ÿ”‘
