Benjamin's background and extensive knowledge of remodeling, the mortgage process, and the negotiation process have helped all of his clients to make wise decisions about which home to buy and fix up, and which ones to avoid. For sellers, Benjamin works closely with them for weeks in advance to help them make wise decisions about which projects should be done to attract buyers, and which projects do not make sense to do.

A good tip for first time home buyers. Don't wait a long time on the sidelines trying to save a 20% down payment. It will take way too long and will cost you a lot more in the long run.

Putting 20% down on a mortgage can feel out of reach for today's homebuyers. Making a smaller down payment is becoming more common.

In my humble opinion, markets (stocks, housing etc.) are a little too hot at the moment. Caution would be wise.
